Oliver Brooks is a writer and illustrator of children’s books based in Rye, East Sussex. He didn’t always want to make children’s books, but after little success in finding a college course on becoming a giant fire-breathing lizard, Oliver decided to study Illustration at Brighton’s Hastings Campus and graduated in 2014.

He is a member of the Association of Illustrators.

His first book, The Poem That I Wrote was released in 2019 by Austin Macaulay Publishing, and he has many more books to follow.
